How does SCREEN WARS work? We chose the films, now you choose the winners! The three films in each episode go up against each other. The film with the highest number of votes moves on. There will be one film added into the finals with the highest number of votes that didn’t automatically advance by winning the round.

Each week voting is open for 48 hours after the show airs. Click on the Vote for This Film icon and send in your vote. Only one vote per person is valid. You must include your first name, last name and e-mail address to be counted. The winning film will be announced on the next week’s episode. And following the announcement on the show, here on the website.

Join us for the Season-ending Awards Ceremony during the 2007 Phoenix Film Festival where we will give out awards for Directing, Acting, Writing, Editing and Cinematography, plus we will announce the Winner of Screen Wars Season Two! THE CEREMONY WILL BE MONDAY, APRIL 16, 2007 at 7 pm. Tickets are available through www.PhoenixFilmFestival.com.

The Nominees for the Specialty Awards have been announced. Click here to see them. If you’d like a ballot to vote for the Specialty Awards (Acting, Directing, Writing, Editing and Cinematography, become an IFP/PHX member today! Only Members vote on these awards! http://www.ifp.org/members/membership.php. Members will be e-mailed the ballot on March 29, 2007. Ballots must be received by noon on April 9, 2007.

PRIZES! Specialty Award winners will receive an engraved plaque. Finalist films will receive a gift bag and certificate. The Winner will receive a gift bag, a plaque and will automatically be selected for the 2008 Phoenix Film Festival.
