$6M for 6M - a microfundraising case study for Indies

Phoenix-based launch flix is unveiling a new micro fundraising campaign called “Six Million for the Six Million.”

We are making a feature film with a $6 million total budget based on a book called An Unbroken Chain: My Journey Through the Nazi Holocaust - the life story of eighty-eight year old Holocaust survivor and author Dr. Henry A. Oertelt.

Launch flix is partnering with Congregation Eitz Chaim of Ahwatukee to start a 501(c)(3) education fund for the film project that will provide tax deductions to donors. The group is conducting a viral marketing campaign on the Web via our new web site, www.6mfor6m.org, along with their branded Facebook Cause page, 6M for 6M, a campaign Twitter account, @6mfor6m, and email marketing.

Sounds cool - good luck!

Just FYI, the Twitter link is missing a "/" after the ".com" so it errors out. Should be http://twitter.com/6mfor6m in case anyone's interested. :)
