A joint feature story by Arizona Woman magazine/The Arizona Republic business page named her among the Valley's "Women in Film". The AriZoni Awards organization honored Laura with a Distinguished Service Award for her efforts in keeping the Valley theater community connected. Most recently, an opinion poll conducted by Arizona Business Magazine listed DurantCom among the top ten marketing/internet companies in the state. She proud to be a nominated as Arts Advocate of the Year by the Arts and Business Council of Greater Phoenix.

Laura is an instructor at Scottsdale Community College teaching Advanced Television and Film Acting for the Theater and Performing Arts department.
