22 Teams ran off into the night on January 22, 2010 to compete in
the Winter 48-Hour Film Challenge. At MADCAP Theatres in Tempe,
Phoenix Film Foundation Executive Director Jason Carney and Phoenix
Film Foundation President Chris LaMont and IFP/PHX Film Challenge
Director Todd Anderson sent the 22 teams off with the required line
of dialogue: "You look very familiar" the prop: a mop, and the
choice of a genre: Slapstick Comedy or Thriller, Romantic Comedy or
Action; or Drama or Musical.

These films move into the finals that take place April 12, 2010
at the Phoenix Film Festival.
Audience members were handed a ballot that included all but the Top
5 films. The results were announced at the after-party at Buffalo
Wild Wings.
