EDUCATIONAL EVENTS DURING THE FILM FESTIVALS

Middle School/High School Workshops at the Phoenix Film Festival
During the Phoenix Film Festival, four days are focused on student programs. School groups in Middle and High School are invited to come to any or all of the workshops. Each day different aspects of filmmaking will be explored and student film enthusiasts of all levels will enjoy learning about film, participating in hands-on activities and viewing films made by their peers. From film lovers to filmmakers, and from writers to actors, these seminars are a great way to compliment the school's current curriculum with real world application.

On all four days, a box lunch is included and students will also get a chance to sneak preview the films created by grade school/high school students that will run throughout the festival. This is a chance for any student to become inspired by the outstanding work of their peers.
