2010 Cinema Lounge

WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

Card-carrying IFP/PHX members can utilize the Metro Arts Theater to show shorts and features to the general public. The small, intimate atmosphere is perfect for private screenings or attracting a smaller crowd, without the hassle of a larger venue.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS VENUE?

Unlike larger venues where the filmmaker can get lost in the crowd, The Metro Arts Theater offers an intimate setting for the filmmaker who wants to screen a film to an audience of less than 100. With a new 4-speaker sound system, a large projector screen, sound board and adjacent reception area, the filmmaker can create a space that reflects his work in the best light possible..
An IFP/PHX filmmaker can collaborate with other filmmakers to create an evening of shorts, knowing this private venue will come equipped with everything they need for one low charge - no hidden fees or additional costs of any kind.
In addition, the filmmaker can practice marketing their films by co-producing the event with IFP/PHX. Part of the proceeds from the event will be split with the filmmaker, making the evening a fundraiser for the filmmaker. Contact Kate Hoy for details.

WHERE IS IT HELD?

IFP/PHX Cinema Lounge is held in the Metro Arts Theater, conveniently located in central Phoenix, 1700 N 7th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85007, 7th Ave and McDowell. Plenty of covered parking is located underneath the building.
