Script to Screen Challenge 2011

Combining winning scripts with winning filmmakers

From August, 2011 until November, 2011 we put out a call for the best quality short film scripts in Arizona.  In December 2011, and January 2012, Arizona’s best filmmakers will read those scripts, pick one and tell us what their creative vision is for completing the project. IFP Phoenix will then select the best combination of script and director’s vision, and give the filmmaker resources necessary to help complete the film.  The finished film will be premiered at the Filmmaker Challenges Finals at the 2012 Phoenix Film Festival, and will be submitted to festivals across the country.  This is a huge opportunity for all Arizona filmmakers and screenwriters.

Current Status

Updated 1/30/2012: The short film “One Final Wish” which will be directed by Judd Lynn, is currently in heavy pre-production.  The casting process with Good Faith Casting has been started, location scouting and crew is being selected.
