Filmmaker Challenges

IFP Phoenix is excited to announce our new season of filmmaker challenges!

Part of the goal and focus this year in IFP/Phoenix is to network, integrate, facilitate and see that filmmakers are making better and better films.  My personal goal is to use the Filmmaker Challenges to raise the standard of what a ‘Great Film’ is in Arizona, and more importantly get some of our talented filmmakers noticed by communities outside of Arizona.  The best thing I can think of is to take our already championing filmmakers and give them whatever resources they need to take it to another level.

You gave us feedback and we listened.  New this season:

  • Challenging MORE than just your ability to make a film in 48 hours.
  • Submit your film in HD, and we’ll project it in HD.
  • Longer film run-times.  Up to 5 minutes in the Beat the Clock and Breakout Filmmaker Challenges and up to 7 minutes in the Masterpiece Challenge.
  • Remote Kickoff!  Live in Sedona, Tucson, Flagstaff, or even Bisbee?  Join us!
  • Remote Submission!  Save your gas, submit online digitally!

We’re also excited to announce that we’ll be having challenges for our talented individuals in film including:

Participate and do well in our Beat the Clock and Breakout Filmmaker Challenges throughout the year, and you may be selected to participate in our Masterpiece Challenge with IFP/Phoenix!
