* Members get 10 hours/year for FREE.  Rate reflects hourly Member rate after free hours are exhausted.

Rental Rates

  • IFP/Phx members receive 10 FREE hours of editing lab time per year. ($50 value)  Free hours must be used during normal business hours.
  • Normal business hours rental is $5/hour for Members, $15/hour for non-members.  (Normal business hours also include weekends/evenings where other IFP/PHX events are already scheduled; Check availability.)
  • Evenings and Weekends rental is $15/hour for Members, $25/hour for non-members.
  • Your Credit Card will be taken at the time of reservation.   It will be charged at the conclusion of your daily session.  If you have a change of plans, you must cancel within 24-Hours or the Phoenix Film Foundation reserves the right to charge your credit card.

Usage Guidelines

  • Bottled water is the only food/beverage allowed in the editing lab.
  • Please bring your own external hard drive for storage of all footage, project files, working files, and final renders.  Firewire drives recommended.
  • Currently, the lab only supports the use of headphones or ear buds for monitoring audio.  Due to the personal hygienic nature of these devices, you must bring your own headphones to the editing lab.
  • IFP/Phx is not responsible for any personal files left on the editing system after you have left the lab.
  • The software availability varies from system to system.  Be sure to reserve the editing system that has the software you specifically need.
  • If you do not know how to use the software, please arrange for a training session (additional cost) with one of our educators.
  • Please report any system or software problems to the Editing Lab Manager immediately.
  • You may not alter core system settings or install any additional software without permission from the Editing Lab Manager.
  • Editing systems have full Internet access; please surf responsibly.
  • The Phoenix Film Foundation reserves the right to refuse service for any reason.

Hours and Reservations

  • The Lab is open during the normal business hours of the Phoenix Film Foundation.  Currently: Monday-Thursday, 10am-6pm and Friday 10am-3pm.
  • Special arrangements can be made for Evenings and Weekend hours.
