Durant Communications to Sponsor Script to Screen

Many Arizona industry professionals are rallying to contribute to create the IFP Phoenix Script to Screen Challenge winning film.  Laura Durant, photographer, actress, and owner of Durant Communcations, has come aboard the project to provide still photography services for the Phoenix-area shoot dates.

Laura is a founding member of IFP Phoenix and is an Emmy nominated co-host and co-producer of the IFP Phoenix production “Screen Wars”.  For more than a decade, actors and filmmakers alike have relied on her company “DurantCom” as the “go-to” resource for casting calls, headshot photography and promotional support.

Laura has been profiled in a number of news and magazine articles including The Arizona Republic (“Valley Theater Movers & Shakers”, “Women in Film”), Echo Magazine (“Renaissance Woman”), Phoenix New Times, and Phoenix Downtown Magazine. The AriZoni Awards organization honored Laura with a Distinguished Service Award for her efforts in keeping the Valley theater community connected. Her actor/performance resume includes film, stage, voice-over, radio and TV. She is represented by Ford Robert Black agency.
