The Tucson Film and Music Festival (TFMF) celebrates filmmaking and music at an annual, multi-day event in Tucson, Arizona, showcasing music-related films and international music artists, with a special nod to films and filmmakers with a Southwest or Arizona connection. 

About the Festival

Now in its eighth year, the Tucson Film & Music Festival has screened over 200 films since its inception in 2005. With attendance of over five thousand filmgoers, TFMF has showcased several Arizona and World Premiere screenings including Kumaré (dir. Vikram Gandhi), Academy Award® winner “God Of Love” (dir. Luke Matheny), “Anvil: The Story of Anvil” (dir. Sacha Gervasi), “Adventures of Power” (dir. Ari Gold), “Hell on Wheels” (dir. Bob Ray), “Scott Walker: 30 Century Man” (dir. Stephan Kijak) and “Rock Prophecies” (dir. John Chester). The music festival has featured 150+ bands including Calexico, Giant Sand, Wanda Jackson, These Arms Are Snakes, MC Lars, Gram Rabbit, Fishbone, John Doe, Ghiant, Vic Chesnutt, The Whisperlights, Andrew Collberg, Margot & The Nuclear So & So’s and more!

Submission Details

The Tucson Film & Music Festival typically takes submissions from filmmakers between June and August with the festival running in early October over Columbus day weekend.  Submissions are accepted through Withoutabox.
