1:30 p.m. Membership Orientation - Crammed with the stuff every member should know about SAG in Arizona, this is for YOU. Whether new to SAG, new to Arizona or not so new, you’ll not want to miss it.
3 p.m. Membership Meeting with newly re-elected President Ken Howard - Find out the latest about the merger, current events impacting our members, and our president’s plans for the future.
4:30 p.m. Conversations - A taped interview produced in the style of Inside the Actors Studio, Conversations is a national speaker series inviting well-known, working actors to share their experiences in the industry with an audience of actors. We are excited about our national president’s visit to Arizona and agreeing to be interviewed about his career. This is a very special opportunity for serious actors. Don’t miss it!

A working actor for more than 40 years, Howard has an extensive resume that includes work on television, movies and the stage, including the upcoming Clint Eastwood biopic J. Edgar. An Emmy and Tony Award winner, he helped create and starred in The White Shadow from 1978–1982, and has had recurring roles on 30 Rock, Dynasty, Melrose Place and Crossing Jordan. He is the author of the book Act Natural and serves as the chancellor of the National Kidney Foundation.

From Phoenix: Take the Scottsdale exit (Exit 7) from the 202 toward Rural Rd. Take the ramp toward Arizona State University/Rural Rd. Merge onto N. Scottsdale Rd. Turn slight right onto S. Rural Rd. Turn right onto E. Apache Blvd. Turn right onto S. Forest Ave. (S. Forest Ave. is just past S. College Ave.)
From Tucson: Take the Broadway Road/52 St. exit (Exit 153B). Keep right at the fork to go onto W. Broadway Rd. Turn left onto S. Mill Ave. Turn Right onto E. 13th St. Turn slight right onto E. Apache. Take the 1st left onto S. Forest Ave.
The orientation and membership meeting portions of this event are only open to paid-up SAG members in good standing. Unfortunately, no guests allowed. Parents/guardians of younger performers under 18 years old are welcome. PLEASE BRING YOUR SAG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR ADMITTANCE (paid thru October 31, 2011). No RSVP necessary.
