Crew Call: SAG Short Film “The Claim”
Crew call for low-budget SAG short film project created under the SAG New Media contract. Filming scheduled for two shooting days, September 24 & October 2nd, 2011. Copy & credit given and food provided. Per the SAG contract, the finished film will be posted as new media on www.funnyordie.com The project is being produced as a showcase for the participating Arizona actors.

Synopsis of “The Claim”
After an attempt to steal a family heirloom goes horribly wrong a group of disorganized gangsters mistakenly kidnap the bosses niece, now they are forced to use her as bait to acquire the item they were after in the first place. But when the kidnapped girl shows interest in joining her Uncle’s gang, returning her becomes a whole new problem.
About the Production Team
IFP Phoenix member Sandy Wasserman will be producing The Claim, along with executive producer Dean Torgerson. The Claim will be directed by Ryan Lynch with cinematography and editing by Webb Pickersgill.
The local Arizona SAG actors cast to star in The Claim are Mike Lawler and Randy Messersmith.
